Salesforce Trees
Reflecting the importance of restoring nature for a corporate giant.
Salesforce aimed to create a compelling microsite for their Trees initiative, focused on the conservation, restoration, and reforestation of 100 million trees by 2030. The purpose of this site was to hold Salesforce accountable and track progress towards this goal. As the creative lead, I designed the site with an editorial look that evokes nature—a breath of fresh air—while integrating key brand elements. It was vital that the microsite stood out against the usual, more light-hearted Salesforce look and feel in order to evoke emotion. The microsite features a tree donation tracker in a leaderboard format, encouraging community engagement and boosting donations. By working closely with our copywriter, it also serves as an educational platform, helping viewers better understand Salesforce’s commitment to sustainability, its approach, and the crucial role trees play in our world.
My efforts for this project also included custom-branded assets that served as an extension of the initiative, enabling users to share on social media—whether to encourage donations or proudly showcase their own contributions. Additionally, I created a comprehensive toolkit for internal distribution, designed to guide conversations around Salesforce’s Trees initiative. This helped ensure a cohesive and impactful campaign effort across the organization.
